This projector has excellent grayscale OOTB, with the lowest DeltaE errors being 2.3 (which is barely visible to the trained eye). It also showed subtle differences in color, for instance when Adam slammed the light staff against the ground.
Other features include 3D Support Keystone Correction, 3D Support and Automatic Focus. These features make it easier to install and setup. It also supports the usual BenQ configuration options. However, it doesn't have a lens shift feature nor a vertical focus. It does have the ability to digitally alter images which can be helpful in less-than ideal installations, but it does affect the quality of images.
GP500 Platinum
The GP500 comes with a range of convenience and quality-of-life features that are common, but some not as common, such as Keystone and Corner Fit, which digitally alters the image for poor installation and a Toslink audio out jack, that turns off the built-in speaker when headphones or another speaker system are plugged in as well as Bluetooth, which allows the GP500 to be used wirelessly as a receiver to play music. 3D playback is also supported as well.
Subjectively, I discovered that the GP500 was extremely accurate in grayscale OOTB. I measured a DeltaE value of just 2.3 which is lower than the amount that is visible to the naked eye. This is pretty good. The Dynamic Contrast feature was a great way to bring depth to the nighttime scenes in Life of Pi and the color was stunning as well. Avatar was also very impressive.
GP500 Black
The GP500 is Pinlock Max Vision-ready and tear-off ready too with opening tabs on both sides of the shield. It also has a shield lock to stop it from opening when riding (or in an accident). The rear of the helmet has a double-d-ring fastener that's free of tools.
The auto-focus function worked extremely well and produced clear images with many distinct shades. It struggled with the darker night scenes in Life of Pi, but it did give a cinematic look.
There aren't any race rep graphics available for the GP500 but you can purchase Airoh Sectors and Cosmos in a black finish. You can also purchase it with Rockstar Drive and Check graphics to give it a more track-focused look.

The built-in DLP Link glasses can also be used to trigger 3D playback. It's great to see that this projector supports this feature, considering that certain brands have stopped supporting it in recent times.
The GP500 White also has several common, but not so common quality-of-life features, such as Keystone and Corner Fit (which is digital image warping). These features are useful in less than ideal installations since they make it easier to display a flat picture. However, they can degrade the quality of the image. This is an important consideration to be aware of. The GP500 produced very clear and distinct colors. It also had a great grayscale performance OOTB.
GP500 Yellow
The GP500 is a stylish and elegant road mobility scooter which puts comfort, performance and safety first.
